The Tools You Need to Get Out of Pain &

Live the Life You Want

Despite what you may have been told, pain doesn't have to be a life sentence.

Modern life can stress your body, leading to chronic, on-again-off-again issues like neck pain, sciatica, plantar faciitis, elbow pain, knee pain, and shoulder issues.

Maybe some days are better than others, but when you're in pain, it's very distracting.  You can't do what you want to do.  It zaps your energy.

And that's not OK.

You may even feel like it's hopeless.  If you've been given a diagnosis of "arthritis," or "bulging discs," it may feel like there's no way out.  Like you're at the mercy of doctors and pills.

Or that you've already tried "everything."

Many people seek help from Physical Therapy, but that's not always accessible.  And it doesn't always work.

Sometimes people need surgery, but often, from what I've experienced with REAL patients, is that surgery is often avoidable.

Not only do I work with people in pain, but I've had just about every type of pain imaginable too.

* I've had to hobble down a flight of stairs using the handrail because my knee was all jacked up.

* I had shoulder tension that went on for years before I figured out how to get to the root of the problem.

* I've had whiplash injuries to my neck.

* I tried to learn handstands in my 40s which led to a wrist problem.

* An old hamstring injury from long-distance running in high school led to a a recent sciatic issue and heel pain.

However, I've figured out how to get to the root of all these issues.

Introducing my Signature Program I designed to take you from tension and pain to ease and strength.

Pain Relief Formula:

Using Posture to Get to the Root Cause of Tension, Pain, and Neuropathy

Imagine a life with no pain...

The funny thing is, when we're not in pain, we don't think about it!

What would you do with all the extra mental and physical energy?  Start practicing yoga, plan a trip, apply for a new job... The possibilities are endless.

My story:  I came up with this program in the midst of the pandemic.  Just before that, I suffered a shoulder and then a wrist injury.  Truthfully, I got them while I practicing aerial dance.  I'm in my late-40s, and flipping upside down is a young person's game.

However, with the help of acupuncture, a chiropractor friend, and my dance instructor, I made a full recovery.  I also made some discoveries about how therapeutic exercise can help us regain our posture and mobility.

And I still practice the upside-down arts too.

Even if hanging upside down by your ankles isn't your jam, I know this can work for you if your goal is to be able to hold a cast iron skillet without your wrist and elbow aching.  It can work if you want take a long walk with your dog without wincing in pain.  Or if you want to keep playing golf well into retirement.

It works regardless of your current ability, age, or how "messed up" you feel like you are.  It has to do with regaining your natural posture.

What would you do if pain didn't get in the way?

A Productive Day

Get through your workday - driving, sitting, lifting - with energy, peace, and enthusiasm.  Enjoy improved hand-eye and brain-body coordination.

Hobbies & Fun

Plan that trip.  Go out dancing with friends.  Chase the kids around the playground.  Enjoy your sex life.  True freedom comes from within!

Athletic Performance

Up-level your sport.  Out-perform yourself.  Be faster, stronger, and more balanced.  Understand what your body wants and needs.

Isn't posture just "sitting up straight?"

It's actually not.  In fact, that misunderstanding is one of the reasons most people suffer with their posture.  We restlessly shift between "sitting up straight" and then slumping because the sitting up straight is actually painful.

It doesn't work!

My system is based on the work of Esther Gokhale.  She studied indiginous societies around the world where virtually nobody suffers from lower back pain.

These are places in South America, India, Asia, Africa, and some parts of Europe where people have retained their Primal Posture.  The theory is there are ways of holding our bodies - while sitting, standing, walking, bending, and sleeping - so that our strong muscles do more work and the other muscles can relax better.

Since we've all but lost this ability in our society, I think it's time to get it back.  Let's make our bodies strong again!  It's our right as humans to be able to move without pain.  I know it can happen because I've seen it in my clients.

The Tools You Need To Move

Once you understand the foundations of natural posture, you'll see how it fits in to all other areas of your life.

But now, you'll be in the driver's seat.  You'll be in control of how you deal with pain.

"Other neck exercises leave me hurting.  Yours didn't.  It was just what I needed."

~ Lori

"After years of knee pain and disappointing news from 2 Orthopedic Surgeons, who confirmed the problem but said that surgery wouldn't help, Nicole came to the rescue.

20 years of knee pain doesn't go away in a day, but in less than 6 months I was running again, doing martial arts, and playing tennis!"

~ Bear

"Nicole fixed my (golfer's) elbow!   She's amazing."

My Path to Natural Healing

I want to help you get to the root of what's going on with your health so you stay healthy and enjoy your life.

I understand that people want more from their healthcare provider than pills and quick-fix band-aids that don't fix the problem.

I taught myself yoga over 30 years ago from a book I read in middle school. The author said to understand yoga, the yoking of the mind and body, to do the poses 30 days in a row, and hold each pose for an "honest 10 counts." After the 30 days, I knew I had stumbled across a beautiful secret — the power of healing, calming, and strengthening your body through breath, Prana, or Qi.

My interest in natural healing peaked while going to the UT in Austin. I had a bout of health issues, particularly horrific cystic acne, that wouldn't clear up. With my frequent trips to the student clinic, I realized that Western medicine had few answers for me.

I had a bout of health issues, particularly horrific cystic acne, that wouldn't clear up. With my frequent trips to the student clinic, I realized that Western medicine had few answers for me.

I went to an acupuncture clinic on a whim. I found it in the phone book (for youngsters, this is what people in the "olden days" used to use to find businesses).

Working with the acupuncturist was different…and better than I expected! Within one month, my skin was clear, I had newfound energy, and I felt fantastic.

I had seen the light, and I wanted more.

One of the things I learned from that formative experience was the importance of nutrition. After that, I dove into all the books on nutrition that I could get my hands on. I taught myself how to cook healthy meals, why buying organic and seasonal foods matters, and how to use the energy of food to heal.

With a base of good nutrition, I found that maintaining health with herbal medicine, acupuncture, and exercise is a breeze.

I studied traditional Chinese medicine and received my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Herbology from the Texas Health and Science University in Austin.

Around that same time, my interest in Chinese health culture led me to studying Chinese Kung Fu. Not only did it strengthen my body, but it heightened my awareness, and I felt more confidence and strength that I knew was possible for me.

After having my second child in 2013, I took a break from martial arts and got back into dance, something that I loved as a kid, and has always been a part of my life.
